This is a pet friendly, cozy and comfortable cottage on James Island that is just 5 miles from historic and scenic downtown Charleston and only 6 miles to Folly Beach. Spend time in this wonderful city in a place that feels like home. The cottage includes full kitchen, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, fully fenced back yard, and covered parking w/ a beautiful concrete coating. Driveway will easily accommodate 4 vehicles or there is room to park a boat trailer should you decide to bring your own boat. We know your pets are a part of your family, they are welcome at Palm Key! There is a $85 per pet fee(max 3 pets).
This is an older home renovated to include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tankless water heater, crown moldings, and hardwood floors. The kitchen and dining room area is open to the living room as well. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms and is filled with coastal charm. Smart TVs with Netflix and local channels are provided in the living room and both bedrooms. You can also log into other streaming services with your own account if you'd like.
The house is thoughtfully prepared for your arrival with flatware, knives, cookware, coffee maker (pot/ pod) & toaster all made by Cuisinart and were all purchased new exclusively for this vacation home. Tea, coffee, creamer, sugar are all provided as well as a waffle iron, towels, bed linens, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. We recycle! You will find a blue recycle bin in the laundry room between the washer and dryer.
The value of this home is incredible and the location is amazing. If you would like to enjoy a day on the beach and a night on the town with a group of friends or family, then this is the house for you!! Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
Full kitchen, laundry, living room, two bed rooms, full bath off of the hall and a half bath in the master, front yard and backyard that is full fenced with a privacy fence. There is a gas fire pit surrounded by 4 Adirondack chairs as well.
This is a duplex style cottage with an attached Mother-In-Law suite where we reside. While we live on the property, there are no shared spaces with us. The home is yours to enjoy privately, including full use of the backyard. If you would like to meet up with us or have us walk you through the property, just shoot us a message!
We highly recommend the purchase of a travel insurance policy due to the fact that our area is in a hurricane prone region of the country. As a reminder we are pet friendly!($85 per pet, max of 3)

Summary: This house worked well for our Mom/daughter girls trip to Charleston. There were three of us so it was comfortable. I was looking for something less pricey than the downtown area. We rented a car as it was necessary to drive to the beach, Cypress Gardens, Boone plantation, and downtown Charleston. Had a nice stay and appreciated the updated and well-supplied kitchen for making a couple meals of our own.

Summary: My Husband, Mother and I and our Golden Retriever puppy all loved our too short of a stay (3 nights) at this lovely property. Beds were comfy, a fully stocked kitchen (they even had frosted beer mugs ready to go in the freezer) A pitcher of filtered water in the refrigerator. So many thoughtful speacial touches. Our puppy was so happy with the squeaky toys they had and food and water bowls- so nice. He loved them so much I need to find and buy them for him. I am conscientious of toxic harmful products and they even have the Meyers cleaning products that we use at home. Safer than many products on the market.The fenced in yard was perfect for our little guy, and for us. Very organized and doesn’t lack for anything. Just be forewarned, you will feel the need to organize all of your closets, drawers and shelves once you return home!
